Announcing the Admission of Two New Partners to the Firm

Johnson, Lauder & Savidge, LLP is pleased to announce the admission to the partnership of:

Gregory J. Carpenter, CPA: Greg is a graduate of Binghamton University with a B.S. in Mathematics and a M.S. in Accounting. He began his accounting career at Johnson, Lauder, & Savidge in February of 2011 and has experience in a variety of areas while specializing in property and casualty insurance accounting, pension auditing, and small closely held business accounting work. He is currently a board member of the Southern Tier Chapter of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants. Greg and his wife, Maeve, reside on Binghamton’s west side and when not in the office, he enjoys golfing and following his favorite sports teams.

Brandon M. Sunderlin, CPA: Brandon is a proud veteran of the Unites States Marine Corp. where he served as an infantryman during numerous combat operations in both Afghanistan and Iraq. He joined the firm in 2013 after his military experience and after working for the international accounting firm of Ernst & Young. He is a graduate of Binghamton University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Master of Science in Accounting. He is a member of both the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA) and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Brandon has served in various capacities within the Southern Tier Chapter of the NYSSCPA and is an active member of the organizations Construction Contractor Committee. He specializes in providing tax, accounting, and consulting services to a diverse group of construction industry clients. In addition to the construction industry, his accounting and tax practice clients include closely held businesses, non-for-profit organizations, and employee benefit plans. His areas of expertise include auditing, accounting, tax planning, agreed upon procedures, consulting, multiple-state taxation, and nexus determination. He has taken an active role in the community, and is currently the treasurer for the United Way’s Emerging Leaders Organization. While not working Brandon enjoys spending time with his wife, Kelly, and two sons.
