Graduate of Rochester Institute of Technology (with honors) with a B.S. in Accounting. Entered public accounting in 1976 with the local firm of Piaker & Lyons. Joined Johnson, Lauder & Savidge, LLP in 1985. Past board member of the Southern Tier Chapter of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants. United Way of Broome County (8 years and past Treasurer), Addiction Center of Broome County (12 years and past President and Treasurer), American Red Cross-Southern Tier Chapter (6 years and past Treasurer and Chair of Audit Committee), and Rotary International-Club 64 Student Exchange Chairman. Also Jim has served on the Finance Council of St. John the Evangelist Church of Binghamton and was chair of the Annual Hope Appeal for several years. He was also a founding organizer of the local non-profit organization the “Binghamton Area Families with Huntington’s Disease”. Specializes in auditing non-profit organizations, employee benefit plans, and consulting with local governments.
